Most dish faults are mechanical, and most are fixed in one visit
A satellite dish lives outside in British weather for years. Wind flexes the bracket a millimetre at a time until alignment drifts, galvanised fixings rust through on coastal properties, LNB covers crack and let water into the electronics, and cheap coax wicks rainwater down to the wall plate.
We start by metering the signal at the dish itself and then at the TV point. Comparing the two readings tells us whether the fault is alignment, the LNB, the cable run or the connectors — so we replace only what has actually failed.
Where a bracket or mount has corroded beyond safe repair we say so and quote for a proper replacement, including re-torqued fixings and fresh weatherproofing. On Sheppey, Thanet and the Folkestone coast we fit stainless fixings as standard because salt air defeats standard fittings within a few seasons.

Questions
Straight answers
Anything not covered here, call 01622 619811 and speak to an engineer — not a scripted call handler.
My dish moved in the wind — can you fix it?
Yes. We re-peak the dish on a meter, re-torque the bracket and check the fixings so it does not drift again in the next storm.
Do you repair Sky dishes even if Sky installed them?
Yes. We are independent, so we repair any dish — Sky, Freesat, free-to-air or foreign-language — and our repairs carry our own guarantee.
The signal only fails in heavy rain — is that a repair?
Yes. Rain fade usually means marginal alignment or water in a connector, and both are repairable without replacing the whole installation.
Can you take an old dish down?
Yes — redundant or unsafe dishes are removed, the wall made good, and the hardware taken away.
